… Brian played with bassist Lisle Ellis to accompany poet Claudia Carlson at Bowery Poetry Club on Sept 12, to great success. “I was backed up by some of the best in the business,” Claudia wrote in her blog. “In fact Ellis is on his way to play with Tony Davis, from me to Davis, too cool. They really listen, respond, in smart creative sound.”

… Brian completed two days of recording with multi-genrist pianist Burton Greene, bassist Adam Lane, alto saxophonist Rob Brown and drummer Ray Sage, on Oct 11th and 12th, 2007 at The Studio, SOHO NYC. The sessions produced a combination of spontaneous compositions-improvisations and compositions from Greene and Groder, resulting in a wonderful session to be released soon.
